A koala has broken into a New South Wales home, and while nothing was stolen, he did make himself comfortable on the couch.
When Michele Goodman and Vicki Haines, returned to their Soldiers Point home in the New South Wales Hunter Valley were surprised to find a koala relaxing in front their heater.
Sharing a picture on social media, Haines wrote, ‘Home to find a koala on the lounge. Omg.’
Speaking to KO FM, Goodman said, ‘It looked exactly like he was watching TV.
‘He was facing the TV, sitting in front of the heater. It was very cute.’
She added, ‘The dog was barking at him and I could see him get his claws ready to attack the dog,’ Michele said.
‘I wasn’t too keen to get to close to him.’
While waiting for the Hunter Koala Preservation Society to come and collect the Koala, Goodman and Haines used their time trying to get photos with him.
‘We tried to get photos of ourselves with him, but we were a bit scared to get close,’ Goodman said.
‘I got this photo of myself through the window. He’s sitting on the lounge and I’m outside in the wind and the cold trying to get a selfie through the window.’
