It’s been 10 years since 30-year-old American mum Karen Vedder flew into Perth to start a new life with 16-year-old schoolboy James Barry.
The controversial romance made global headlines – and Karen was criticised for neglecting her own toddler to tend to ‘toyboy’ James, who she’d meet after school each day.
The two shared sizzling chemistry and married as soon as James turned 18. But did anyone really expect it to last?
