The 33-year-old mother was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer two years ago, and after undergoing a double mastectomy, the cancer returned.

Cox has proven how incredibly brave she is after doctors told her that her cancer was ‘incurable’ and ‘terminal.’ Now, the Brisbane local is preparing to travel across the globe for treatment at an innovative European clinic which will cost over $100,000.

‘It can’t be how it ends. This can’t be the end of our story,’ Susan told Nine News

Her husband, Philip, added that the new battle ‘absolutely takes you to your limits.’

Susan further added, ‘My goal is to be here and see my children grow up…I can’t leave them without a mum.’

Incredibly supportive and optimistic Philip added that the pair are ‘in this for the 50th and 60th wedding anniversary’.
