A millionaire, who is being question over the 1966 disappearance of the Beaumont children, is also under investigation for alleged child sex offences overseas.
The man, who cannot be named, returned to Adelaide in June after living an extravagant life in Cambodia, 7 News reports.
Weeks after his arrival in Australia, the man has been questioned over the 50 year mystery of the disappearance of Grant, Arna and Jane Beaumont.
The children were reported missing on Australian day when they failed to return from a day at Glenelg beach.
‘Whether there is a link with the Beaumonts, I’m quite sure they will find out soon enough’ Stuart Mullins, the Co-Author of Satin Man, a book exposing the prime suspect in the case,’ told 7 News.
‘They are absolutely focused on if there was a link,’ he said.
‘He is a paedophile, he did live in Glenelg at the time and he did abuse children.’
7 News believes the man financed orphanages in Cambodia, where children claim to have been abused.
