Mother-of-two Sara Connor from Byron Bay, who was detained in Bali over the death of an officer on Kuta Beach almost two weeks ago, has had an emotional reunion with her ex-husband.
Anthony ‘Twig’ Connor visited his ex-wife at Denpasar Police Station where they discussed their two children.
Connor’s lawyer Robert Khuana said: ‘They hugged. (They were) crying together, both of them,’ The Daily Mail reports.
Khuana added: ‘(They were) sad because they never thought this thing would happened.
‘Especially now, they’re thinking about their children.’
Life for their two children has become very difficult.
‘Anthony said earlier that because of this incident, his children are having difficulties going to school because every day the media are crowding the house’s front yard,’ said Khuana.
Connor was detained on August 19 with boyfriend David Taylor, both are suspects in the murder of Bali police officer Wayan Sudarsa.
Police allege Taylor bashed Sudarsa repeatedly about the head.
Both Taylor and Connor are suspects on charges of murder, assault, battery which carry a maximum 15 year jail term.
