When a modelling agency turned down Asher Nash for an audition because he has Down syndrome his mum decided to take matters further.
Meagan Nash decided to change people’s notions of beauty by posting pictures of Asher on the Kids with Down Syndrome Facebook page and questioning why OshKosh had not wanted her son to model their clothes.
When the post went viral, OshKosh got in touch with the family and invited 15-month-old Asher to an audition.
As Meagan says: ‘He lights up when people take his picture, he loves the attention.’
Now the tot has won a contract with the brand and will appear in next year’s campaign.
