Bachelor winner Alex Nation has hit back at outrageous and false claims she is ‘neglecting’ her son while she seeks fame with new love Richie Strahan.
As she prepared to jet off on a romantic holiday with her rose-bearing beau, the former nude model confirmed there was no substance to nasty insinuations from trolls that she had turned her back on her five-year-old son Elijah.
‘My little boy is everything to me,’ insists the final rose winner. ‘I know who I am and I know what kind of mother I am so [the claims] don’t bother me.’
Confirming last week Richie was yet to meet her son, Alex was forced to address rumours her ex-husband Joel Porter’s new girlfriend Ashy Smith has had to step up and take on the role of Elijah’s mother after the new-found star won the Bachelor.
‘Ash is a great girl,’ Alex responded. ‘It’s disappointing that there’s stuff out there like that.’
Ashy, however, has done little to quash the rumours, posting and then deleting a series of nasty memes seemingly aimed at The Bachelor star, with one reading, ‘Too bad you are only a good mother on Facebook.’
Ouch!
