Olivia Newton and John Farnham have taken their friendship to the next level: creating a Christmas album together.
Appearing on The Project to promote the alum, the duo revealed the decision to go ahead with the festive album was simple.
Farnham, 67, said he was having drinks a with an executive from Sony who suggested the idea .
'He plied me with copious amounts of - I think it was red wine', John told The Project.
'He said to me, "do you think you would make a Christmas album?"' the That's Freedom singer recalled.
'And I thought "oh that's not a bad idea".'
Farnham texted John, who replied with a smiley face.
And the rest is history.
