In the video, which was shared to the Oakford Community Page on Facebook, the man pulls up alongside the two girls and asks: “What the f*** are you doing?”
He continues: “No, don't f***ing burn your clothes. Put it out. It's a complete fire ban… a complete fire ban, don't burn your clothes.”
The man then asks the girls where they live, before telling them to go home – at which point, one of the girls verbally lashes out at him.
“It doesn't f***ing matter where we live,” one of the girls says, before adding: “You go f***ing home.”
Following the bizarre encounter, the man shared the video on social media to help identify the two girls.
“Anybody know these two young girls? Found them starting a fire on the corner of Brockwell Place and Foxton Drive this afternoon at 7:00pm,” Mr Langley captioned.
“When confronted about what they were doing they said: ‘We just had to burn it!’. I immediately stomped the fire out and told them to go home while a friend recorded everything.”
With a “catastrophic” fire warning currently in place, the footage has angered Facebook users, with many taking to the social platform to slam the girls for the alleged behaviour.
