An actor who had a stint on long-running show The Young and the Restless has been indicted for allegedly abusing a girl younger than 10 years old, PEOPLE confirms.
Corey Sligh, 30, was arrested in 2014 and charged with child molestation and later released on bail for $22 000.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Sligh knew the girl who was allegedly abused.
He was also arrested the following month on similar accusations after a the County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a woman who claimed the actor had touched her young daughter inappropriately.
He was released on bail again, for $100 000.
The actor faces up to 20 years in jail.
