In a horrifying video, a woman in Wagga Wagga was seen throwing a cat into the path of a dog in a ‘disgusting’ act of animal cruelty.
WARNING: Distressing footage.
WATCH: Woman throws cat across yard
According to 7 News, the woman being accused is Charli Gowland – who threw her friend’s domestic long hair cut across her yard after claiming the feline was attacking her dogs.
A friend of Gowland’s filmed the video and posted it on social media, writing “caption this” on the video.
Gowland has since apologised for the act and admitted what she did was wrong.
A source told Prime7 the cat had died, but Gowland is adamant that the cat was not killed.

“I have seen the video and it’s absolutely disgraceful,” a Wagga Wagga police officer told 7 News.
“We have zero tolerance for animal cruelty in this community.
“Apart from it being really distasteful and disgusting, I don’t see why anyone would see a video like that being funny.”

The maximum penalty for animal cruelty offences in New South Wales is a five-year jail term or $22,000 fine.
According to 7 News, Police are investigating the video and the RSPCA have been made aware.
