Woman ‘killed pregnant neighbour and snatched her baby’

Shocking new details have emerged from a North Carolina case where a couple has been accused of murdering their eighth-months-pregnant neighbour.

They’ve also been charged for the disappearance of a baby that is believed to be the victims’.

Brooke Lynn Crews, 38, and her partner, 32-year-old William Henry Hoehn are suspected of murdering neighbour Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind, whose body was found in a river.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, boyfriend Hoehn revealed to the police that he saw Crews cleaning up blood in the bathroom upon arriving home from work on August 19. The documents revealed that Crews was also holding a baby girl and allegedly told Hoehn: ‘This is our baby, this is our family.’

The baby is believed to be the victim’s daughter and was found in the couple’s home. It was reported that LaFontaine-Greywind visited the apartment a few hours before she went missing.

Crews told authorities that she invited Greywind to the apartment to help teach her how to self-induce birth.

The couple have both been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit kidnapping along with providing false information to law enforcement.
