Distressing new footage shows a female cabin crew member being flung into the roof of the airplane cabin mid-air during a horrific bout of turbulence.

The frightening incident, which took place on a flight from Pristina, Kosovo bound for EuroAirport in the Swiss city of Basel, left 10 people injured, The Sun UK reports.
Passengers were scalded with hot beverages from the in-air dining trolley and and one woman suffered a head injury when she was thrown upwards into the ceiling.
Traveller Mirjeta Basha told Germany’s Badische Zietung she was in fear for her life.
“I thought we all had to die. My husband has scalded his neck.”
EuroAirport’s press officer Vivienne Gaskell told The Sun the aircraft was “shaken relentlessly for ten tortuous minutes” over the Italian region of South Tyrol just 30 minutes before it was due to land.
According to the Aviation Herald, the plane was attempting to avoid a thunderstorm.
The Boeing 737-300 is owned by Bulgarian carrier ALK-Airlines.
