Turia Pitt has shared some sad news with her fans.
The inspirational athlete and bushfire burns survivor has revealed that she will be undergoing more surgery later this week in an ongoing bid to manage her injuries.
‘I’m going in for more surgery on Friday. It’s still a big part of my life and I’ve had to develop some strategies for seeing it as a GOOD thing,’ she wrote alongside a picture of herself.
‘I’m gonna jump on Facebook live tomorrow night at 7 to fill you guys in and share some of those strategies with you. If you’ve got q’s you want me to answer, pop them in the comments below and I’ll answer them live! Would love to hear from you xx’
Turia – who has been with fiancé Michael Hoskin for e=several years – has said in the past that her partner ‘brings out the best in her’.
In an exclusive interview with New Idea last year, the 29-year-old, opened up about their future plans.
‘We’re both big on family, so hopefully kids will be in our future at some stage.
‘We’re both so active and adventurous, I’m sure that will be a big part of our kids’ lives as well.’
