There has been a tsunami warning issued in New Zealand following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake.
The earthquake occurred near the Kermadec islands northeast of New Zealand on Sunday.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center announced that “hazardous tsunami waves from this earthquake are possible within 300 km of the epicentre along the coasts of the Kermadec islands.”
