A touching photo on Twitter has gone viral for all the right reasons.
Last October, Mckenna Newman’s mother, Marci, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer – an event that rocked their family.
Recently, Marci underwent radiation therapy, which meant she had to be isolated from her family to prevent them being affected by radiation. But that didn’t stop her husband Jon from being as close to her as possible.
Since then the touching photo has been shared thousands of times, including by news outlets and Facebook sites.
Mckenna told BuzzFeed that she was amazed by the “amount of love” she has received since she tweeted the photo.
Her mother Marci added that her husband is at “every doctor’s appointment, every blood test, every surgery, every radiation”.
So very sweet.
