Outspoken contestants Jen Hawke and Leah Costa have been dubbed this year’s villains, after stirring up unprecedented levels of drama in the Bachelor mansion already.
Controversial contestant Leah upset the other girls from the second she walked in to the mansion, ignoring their greetings.
‘You don’t have time to make friends with everyone and… I came to meet Matty,’ she retorted.
Meanwhile, Jen clashed with Elizabeth in the first few minutes of the cocktail party, saying: ‘I would definitely describe Elizabeth as a bitch…’
Viewers have accused the twosome of acting and playing up to the cameras to cause controversy, and New Idea can now exclusively reveal there may be cause for suspicion.
Both girls are well-connected with many Channel Ten employees – a fact that has been smudged from history in a shocking cover-up by network bosses.
I’m A Celebrity star Dane Swan, Bachelorette Georgia Love, Survivor star Sam Webb and Bachelorette contestant Jake Ellis are just a few of the well-known names who are linked to the dramatic duo.
According to sources at Ten, producers have gone to great lengths in an attempt to hide any evidence that the girls have been planted to create drama.
‘Celebrities and people linked with Ten have been contacted and asked to “un-friend”, these two,’ an insider spills.
‘They were warned that they must remain tight-lipped if they are asked about any relationships with them. For whatever reason, keeping their connections a secret was a priority.’
Jen, 27, briefly dated Bachelor Jake after he became third runner-up on The Bachelorette, and has since become close friends with his co-star Courtney Dober.
The brunette beauty has also been linked to Survivor and Neighbours star Sam Webb and was snapped hanging out with 2014 Bachelor star Zilda Williams.
Meanwhile, architecture student Leah is a regular on the Melbourne social scene and had no end of mates to call on to get advice on appearing on the show.
A source close to the duo reveals the 24-year-old is believed to have met Matty J on New Year’s Eve in Sydney, and added him as a Facebook friend.
‘She’s also mates with Georgia Love and Leah Elliot,’ the insider reveals.
