Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards has been arrested one day after his wife Mackenzie Standifer Edwards confirmed the couple were expecting their first child.
Public records reveal that 30-year-old Edwards was arrested Tuesday for petition to revoke stemming from a previous simple possession of heroin charge. TMZ reports he was arrested at his house when police executed a warrant for violating probation.
The TV personality was released on Wednesday.
Police have not issued any more information.
Ryan’s arrest this week comes after news that he and Mackenzie are expecting their first child together.
In a preview for next week’s episode of the hit MTV series, Mackenzie, 21, takes a pregnancy test that comes out positive.
While it’s the couple’s first child together, they both have children from previous relationships — Edwards shares 9-year-old son Bentley with Teen Mom OG‘s Maci Bookout; while Mackenzie shares 4-year-old son Hudson with ex Zachary Stephens.
