The teen fugitives who have been accused of murdering Australian man Lucas Fowler and his Canadian girlfriend Chynna Deese, have been found dead after weeks on the run.

The bodies of teen murder suspects Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, were found in the wilderness near the shores of the Nelson River, in the Canadian province of Manitoba.
A spokesperson for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police released the following statement: “At this time, we believe these are the bodies of the two suspects wanted in connection with the homicides in British Columbia.
“I’m confident it is them but to identify them officially and to be sure we have to go to autopsy.”
The spokesperson continued: “I hope today’s announcement can begin to bring some closure.
“To the officers involved in the search, I commend you in your determination.”
The two teenagers were wanted for the murders of Lucas Fowler, 23, and Chynna Deese, 24, as well as Canadian biology professor Leonard Dyck, 64.
Since the discovery of the deceased persons, the teenagers have been on the run.
According to news.com.au, the case saw a major breakthrough on Saturday when the police recovered several items connected to the fugitives on the banks of Nelson River, not far from where their bodies were later found.
The police have confirmed the bodies were found at around 10 am Wednesday local time.
The bodies of Aussie man Lucas Fowler and his girlfriend Chynna Deese were found on the 15th of July on the side of the Alaska Highway in British Columbia, having been fatally shot.
The family of Mr Fowler issued a statement when their son’s body was found:
“To lose someone so young and vibrant, who was travelling the world and just enjoying life to the full, is devastating,” the family said.
“To know his beautiful girlfriend, Chynna Deese of Charlotte, North Carolina also lost her life in this violent event is too cruel.
“We are all now travelling to Canada to be with our boy and to bring him home.
“Our deepest thanks for all your love and care. At this stage we can only move forward a minute at a time, and those minutes are moving so slowly.”
