A mother whose two teenage children were killed by their own father has been found dead months later.
Olga Edwards, 37, was found lifeless at home, less than six months after her estranged husband John Edwards murdered the couple’s two children Jack, 15, and Jennifer, 13, at their home in Sydney’s north-west.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
‘She has been struggling lately,’ The Daily Telegraph reported a police source as saying.
‘Since losing her children she has been in and out of hospital and police have been in constant contact with her and became worried when they didn’t hear from her.’
In July, John Edwards shot his children in their own home before fleeing and killing himself at his Normanhurst house hours later.
