Schapelle Corby turned 40 this week and to celebrate the freed convicted drug smuggler enjoyed a special day with her family.
The Queenslander shared some snaps of her big day along with a lengthy caption.
“40th birthday. First birthday back on home soil after being away for 13 years. Each year its been my wish to be home, finally 2017 its a reality. The day couldn’t have been more perfect. Just with my family,” she wrote.
But the brunette beauty admitted there were a few important people absent for the occasion:
“Minus my 2 other brothers & my Ben. Also missing My Dad & Papa Greg who’ve passed away 9 years ago 😢RIP. Never a day has gone by without you in my thoughts. I love you for being my Dad, you’ll always be my Dad. You give me strength to keep moving forward. #birthday #40 #family#strength#keepmovingforward #2017❤️ #greatful.”
Corby also left an inspiring message for her 201k followers.
“For those who have lost someone or going through hard times… be strong, keep pushing forward, everyday is a new day, look for positives. Things will get better.❤❤,” she wrote.
