Schapelle Corby is said to be ‘upset’ after leaving her boyfriend, Ben Pananagian, behind in Bali.
The 39-year-old was deported back to Australia over the weekend after 13 years in Bali, nine of which were spent behind bars at Kerobokan Prison.
The pair allegedly met in 2006 at the prison – Ben was serving a three-year sentence for drug possession.
After he was released from prison, the paddleboard instructor would meet her at the visitors centre, and after she was released, they would spend time together in her Kuta villa, reports Mamamia.
Sadly, with both having criminal convictions, it’s unlikely they will be able to visit each other in their home countries.
Schapelle is unlikely to be allowed to go back to Bali, and Ben might be blocked from coming to Australia because of his drug conviction.
The only chance the pair have for a reunion is to meet in a third country which will allow them both to enter.

After Schapelle’s sentence ended, the former beauty therapist joined Instagram and shared her journey with her followers.
Her latest post was an image of what appears to be a painting of herself riding a unicorn.
‘FREEDOM hashtagoiloncanvas,’ she captioned the picture.
