BREAKING: Schapelle Corby leaves Bali for Australia

Schapelle Corby was flanked by dozens of police officers as she made her way from Kuta to Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The 39-year-old is going to the airport via the Parole Office in Denpasar where she will meet with officials to sign documents.

Corby is scheduled to fly home to Brisbane on a flight around 10pm tonight, 13 years after arriving in Bali with over 4kg’s of marijuana in her boogie board bag.

Kuta Police Chief Wayan Sumara deployed one company of troops, which equates to 100 police officers, to escort her to the airport via the Parole Office.

Earlier this week it was revealed Corby would be flying business class with Virgin airlines accompanied by her sister, Mercedes. She also will be escorted by celebrity bodyguard John McLeod on the flight.

Just hours before being deported, Corby joined Instagram to share a farewell tribute to her two dogs.


‘Going to miss these two. My puppies #Luna&May,’ she captioned the image.

She then posted a second image thanking her ‘Bali family’.

‘Big thank you to my Bali family, neighbours and my brother inlaw Wayan. #realtime#abouttoleavwmyhomeof3years‘, she wrote.
