Convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby is being urged to become Australia’s next Bachelorette.
Twitter has lit up with users keen to see the 39-year-old cast by Network Ten as the next star of its reality series once current Bachelorette Sophie Monk has her spin this year.
One person wrote, ‘The Bachelorette 2018: Schapelle. You can hear the TV execs frothing now. #schapellecorby.’
Meanwhile, another wrote, ‘#bachelorette starring #Schapelle.’
It comes after Schapelle’s sudden affinity with social media, posting a video of herself mocking the media as footage failed to capture her actual arrival into Australia.
Schapelle spent nine years in a Bali prison after being caught with 4.2kg of cannabis in her bodyboard bag at Denpasar airport.
