A 41-year-old man has been charged with assault after dash cam footage showed him punching a 21-year-old woman in the face while stopped at a traffic light on NSW Central Coast.
The dash cam video went viral earlier this week showing the man in a yellow shirt marching toward the woman who was standing her ground next to a silver ute.
He hit her hard in the face, causing her head to jolt back, before marching back to his car.
The woman has been identified as 21-year-old Bianca Sams who was traveling with a friend and a five-month-old baby.
She claims the man began driving strangely after they overtook him on the freeway.
‘That’s when he started tailgating us, swerving up the road,’ she told Nine News.
On the video, however, the description says that there were items being thrown from Bianca’s car to the man’s car.
In the comments on the video an exchange between Bianca and her friends has her describe throwing nails on to the man’s car and busting his window with a chisel before the incident took place.
