To mark his 70th birthday, the Royal Family released a series of photographs giving a new look into the future monarchs life.
Royal photographer Chris Jackson was granted unprecedented access to Charles over the last year, culminating in a photo series and profile for the Sunday Times.
In one of the photographs released, Charles can be seen feeding a brood of chickens.
The royal wears gumboots and looks at ease among the animals.

Jackson wrote of the image, “For The Prince of Wales at 70 project I spent time this year documenting the Prince ‘behind the scenes’ at work and at more personal moments.
“Here he is feeding his prized Burford Brown and Maran chickens first thing in the morning at home in Highgrove.”
More of the intimate shots released by the Royal Family show the sweet bond Charles shares with his youngest grandchild, Prince Louis.

One of the sweet snaps shows Prince Charles cradling a smiley Prince Louis. The royal sweetly laughs as the toddler looks over into the distance.
The other photograph released is another candid of the Royal Family’s group shot.
In this portrait a seven-month-old Louis attempts to grab his grandfather’s face, while the group laugh.
Jackson said: “I was delighted to have been asked to take these portraits of The Prince of Wales surrounded by his family to celebrate the important milestone of his 70th Birthday. It was particularly special to capture such an informal and relaxed family portrait over a fun afternoon in the gardens of Clarence House.”
