The beloved Polly Waffle is back and hitting the shelves very soon!

Earlier in the year, South Australian confectioner Robert Menz declared the Polly Waffle – which hasn’t been seen in a Woolies or a Coles since 2009 – will be making a permanent return to supermarket shelves in 2020.
The news that the marshmallow and wafer filled bar of goodness will be coming back after being unceremoniously dumped by the powers that be, sent baby boomers and Gen Xers into a frenzy.
CEO of Robern Menz, Phil Sims, told 7News that bringing the chocolate bar back into mainstream circulation hasn’t been an easy process.
“Polly Waffle is a unique chocolate bar, and although it may sound simple enough – with its combination of chocolate, wafer and marshmallow – it actually requires a number of fairly complicated processes to create.
“We’re focusing a lot of energy and resource into ensuring Polly Waffle is as tasty as people remember and can’t wait to share it with the public soon.”
