The Cranberries frontman Dolores O’Riordan tragically passed away yesterday at the age of 46, and now shocking revelations about the popular performers life has come to light.
The Irish rockstar’s death has been described as ‘not suspicious’ by Police, and O’Riordan had battled depression throughout her life and have a suicide attempt in 2013.
In a newly surfaced interview from 2014 with friend Barry Egan, O’Riordan said: ‘I am not going to live that long. I’m 43. If I see 50, I’ll be happy. I mean that.’
O’Riordan was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2015, and has also spoken out about struggling with eating disorders, alcoholism, and living with abuse carried out when she was ‘a little girl’.
Her tragic death came two weeks after her partner and bandmate, New York-based musician Ole Koretsky, posted a photo of them both on his Instagram page with the caption: ‘NYE: take away, TV, pajamas.’
The couple both played in O’Riordan’s latest band D.A.R.K. and have romantically linked for over two years.
O’Riordan leaves behind three children, whom she shares with ex-husband Don Burton. The couple share son Taylor, 20, and daughters Molly, 16 and Dakota, 12. They all live with their father in Canada.
Social media has also continued to flood with tributes to the legendary songstress.
