Parents’ fury over Bali teen now he’s home

He's one lucky teen

Parents of Perth teen who was detained in Bali for two nights accused of on suspicion of drug possession, are said to be furious with their son.

Jamie, Murphy, 18, exited Perth airport through a side door around midnight on Thursday.

Photos show Jamie leading the way through a sea of media waiting for them at the Bali International airport before they departed, his parents looking less than impressed.

Jamie was arrested outside the Skygardens nightclub in Kuta on Tuesday.

‘It’s not mine, I haven’t taken it, what are you doing, it’s not mine. It’s not mine,’ he shouted during his arrest, which was captured by Channel Nine cameras.

Kuta Police chief Wayan Sumara said the teen was ‘very lucky’ he would not be facing charges after all tests came back negative.

Sumara told media that Jamie admitted to buying the powder ‘off a man on the street.’

Jamie’s lawyer, however, denies these claims.
