Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have stunned Aussie fans and donated $100,000 to drought relief.
Appearing via video message on Today’s Farm Aid Telethon, the Australian couple shared their desire to help support struggling farmers during this current drought.
In the clip, Keith says, ‘We wish we could be with you today but I’m on tour, but it is very important for us to be a part of this today and do our bit for the farmers.
‘We love Australia and we realise that there’s been a crippling drought crisis and the rural communities are doing it really, really hard right now so we want to do our bit.
‘We would like to donate $100,000 to the Farm Aid Telethon and we’re asking anybody else out there that would like to give anything, this is the way in which you can give.’
Nicole, who was raised in Sydney, admits she’ll always be a country girl at heart.
Nicole and Keith aren’t the only Australia celebrities banding together to help struggling farmers.
Late last week the Home And Away cast and crew got together to raise funds for Drought Angels, a charity that continuously supports those affected by drought.
Home And Away alum Stephen Peacocke even travelled from Hollywood to join his former co-stars at the event!
