Nicola Robinson tells: ‘I was ashamed’

Pete Evans’ wife opens up about her breast implants.

She’s called them the ‘deepest regret of my life’, and on Channel 7’s Sunday Night, Pete Evans’ wife Nicola revealed how she feels now she’s finally had her breast implants removed.

‘Every day is a new beginning for me. I feel like I blossom anew with every sunrise. It’s a lot more fun to ride the horses, to surf, to just do everything. I have a whole new sense of freedom,’ Nicola told the program.

The former model, who formerly graced gossip columns in her native New Zealand, spoke candidly about how she used to look – in her words – ‘ridiculous’.

‘I was just so ashamed of myself and that’s just such a pointless emotion to really feel because it holds you in the past, it stops you from enjoying the present moment,’ Nicola told the programme, explaining that whilst her implants hadn’t ruptured, the scar tissue surrounding them had been ‘tested for silicone’ and found to be ‘riddled with it’.

‘I knew 100 per cent too that they [the implants] were making me sick and essentially ageing me, so it just made perfect sense to me that they had to go,’ she said.

‘[There are] just so many different advantages of not having two large bags attached to your chest,’ she added.
