A shocking new report has emerged revealing a family member could have played a part in JonBenét Ramsey’s murder.
Forensic experts found that the DNA samples recovered from the six-year-olds underpants and two spots on her long johns came from at least two people in addition to the little girl.
The existence of a third person’s DNA were never made public, according to recently obtained documents.
The death of the six-year-old beauty queen has remained one of America’s greatest unsolved mysteries, and now, a joint report by the Boulder Daily Camera and news station KUSA-TV. Suggests that JonBenét’s family cannot be ruled out of her murder.
Despite the Colorado District Attorney being informed of this information at the time, the evidence was never mentioned when clearing the Ramsey’s.
The forensic report also alleges the sample on JonBenét’s underwear could actually belong to more than one person rather than just a single individual.
These results go against the statement made by former Boulder prosecutor Mary Lacy when she cleared JonBenét’s father John, mother Patsy and brother Burke of her murder.
In 1999, a grand jury voted to indict the girl’s parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, for child abuse resulting in death, however the district attorney at the time declined to prosecute, citing a lack of evidence.
This latest evidence adds another twist to the investigation of the case, which has baffled America, and the world.
The beaten and strangled body of JonBenet was found in the basement of her parent’s Boulder, Coloorado home on December 26 1996.
Until this date, no-one has been charged with her murder.
