Mysterious house guest fascinates Australia

A Facebook user has revealed that she had a mysterious guest stay at her home without her knowledge.

Rebekka S posted a photo of a pair of shoes belonging to the person in the hope that he or she can be identified.

“Strange occurrence on Friday night,” she started the post in the “Newtown 2042” Facebook group.

It continued: “A girl entered our house and slept in the spare room downstairs. She took a Pepsi from the fridge and used the spare bath mat and throw on the sofa in the lounge room upstairs to wash with – both left in the bath along with her jewellery on the sink.

“She also left her shoes in the bedroom (I’m assuming a girl because of the heels, but acknowledge may not necessarily be a girl but feel it was). I think she left around 7am after my friend went to work and probably woke startled.”

Rebekka then went on to post a theory as to the identity of the mystery guest.

“The couple who used have the room she slept in only moved out last week. Sadly the guy was cheating and was apparently sneaking girls in when his partner was away for work through the front window of the room (sliding doors) so the rest of the house was none the wiser. I’m wondering if it’s one of these girls – she just seemed to know her way in and around too well?”

Fans were quick to comment on the post.
