There are several things we can all agree on that make plane travel excruciating.
That inconsiderate person in front of you who immediately reclines their seat – causing your tray table to jettison its load into your lap is one. The eternal fight for the armrest is another.

But nothing seems to get on our nerves as much as sitting near a stressed-out baby, bawling their little eyes out.
This is exactly the situation this mum found herself in when she jumped on board a flight in the early hours of the morning, but instead of grumbling – the story of her kind reaction has gone viral.
In a post on the Love What Matters Facebook page, Kesha Bernard explains she had just boarded an early flight when she heard a mum with three screaming kids struggling.
Kesha says thankfully, a mum of three herself, her ‘mom powers’ enable her to tune out toddler drama. But, she says, she couldn’t ignore the appalling reactions of the fellow passengers.
When the toddler apparently wouldn’t stop kicking the passenger’s chair in front of her the woman reached around and snatched at the girl’s little foot.
‘She’s 3 I can’t believe you just did that!’ replied the exhausted mum.
Another toddler is having ‘a full blown melt down over her seatbelt being on’.
‘Obviously her way of discipline isn’t working’, Kesha heard one passenger say.
Instead of receiving offers of help, the poor mum was subjected to abuse and criticism for not being able to settle her distressed kids.
‘Everyone around me starts huffing and puffing and mumbling.
‘While this is happening the freaking flight attendant is just standing there…listening. Not even doing anything.’
Kesha couldn’t take it anymore.
‘I get up out of my seat, go a few rows back and go ask her if she needs help; she immediately handed me her baby.’
The plane was about to take off so Kesha sat back in her seat with the little one, who promptly dozes off on her lap, which is when she snaps this adorable photo.
‘My point???? Be nice and considerate. If someone needs help for God’s sake HELP THEM. Complaining and mumbling doesn’t do a thing except make the person that needs help feel worse (words hurt),’ she writes.
‘How we can ignore a human in distress? Please be kind. Please be considerate. Help one another…it makes everything easier. I promise you won’t die.’
