A mother is pleading for a refund, after her young son purchased a rare ‘Golden Banana’ online for a whopping $10,000.
NSW mum Donna Jacob told Seven News that her seven-year-old son purchased a Coles Stikeez collectable off eBay.
“I nearly fell off my chair,” she told Seven News.
Jacob appealed to eBay and Paypal to get a refund but claims she was ignored.
eBay has since given the green light on refunding the mum after being contacted by Seven News.
In a statement to Seven News, eBay said it understands “there are unique circumstances in this case”.
