A QLD mother whose young daughter was found trapped, ‘petrified’ and alone in a bus hours after she was meant to arrive home from school, has now asked for donations and threatened to sue people who have criticised her parenting.
Bobbie Langdon was a distressed mother on Monday afternoon when her daughter, Alyssa Jayde New, failed to return home from her first day of school at Jimboomba State School.
Alyssa was found five hours later at the Logan bus depot after she had accidentally fallen asleep on the bus home.
Now Ms Langdon has faced criticism from fellow Yarrabilba residents and members of the public amid gossip about the circumstances surrounding the little girl’s misadventure.
Police have confirmed that it was Langdon’s ex-partner who called authorities.
Ms Langdon has since defended herself on social media, threatening legal action against those who ‘made comments on my life and the way I live.’
The defensive mother has also called for donations for her family in the wake of the ‘stressful’ incident.
In a recently deleted Facebook post, Langdon reportedly asked people to transfer money into her bank account so she could ‘take Alyssa to Dreamworld.’
Logan Coaches, as well as Queensland Police, are currently still investigating the incident that saw the child locked in an empty bus at the depot.
