Recently, Share Warne has been at the centre of speculation he is gearing up to become the next Bachelor, but now his close friend – Australian cricketer Michael Clarke – has revealed the notorious Casanova has his eyes set on a different reality series!
During an interview with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa this morning, Michael Clarke spilt the beans on his friend’s unexpected dream.
‘Do you think there’s a chance Shane Warne could be the next Bachelor?’ Fitzy asked him.
‘No chance … but there’s another show he’s been bragging on about. Love Island,‘ Clarke replied. ‘He wants to host it … I said: ‘Host it? You wanna go on it!’’
The Nine Network revealed it was developing an Australian version of the controversial British dating show last month.
Just like Temptation Island, the show sees a group of men and women sent to an island and forced to couple up — with any remaining singletons booted out.
Warnie may have stiff competition in his bid to host.
The Daily Telegraph recently reported that Sophie Monk is attempting to negotiate out of her Ten contract so she can take the job.
