After years of being by her convicted drug smuggler sister Schapelle’s side, Mercedes Corby will fly back into Australia to face court.
Mercedes will be up against her former best friend, pro surfer Trudy Todd, with whom she opened a Gold Coast tapas eatery, called Laneway Bar and Dining.

The bar – which opened in mid 2016 – closed abruptly in January, amid speculation of a feud between the pair.
Todd won a request for an apprehended violence order against Mercedes in January.
In February reports claim that police were called over a dispute regarding a luxury Audi, which was linked to the business.

Corby requested that Tweeds Head Court move the initial May 31 hearing date, so she could so she could be in Bali this week for Schapelle’s parole release.
“It’s going to be a bit crazy,” she told the court as magistrate Michael Dakin.
A new court date is set for June 1.
