One punter made light of the terrible weather at The Melbourne Cup when she found a spot to splash around in some puddles and do a little dance.
Dressed in a pretty floral frock and matching gum boots, the jolly brunette kicked her legs in the air and waved around her umbrella enthusiastically.
The video was uploaded to Twitter and was promptly critiqued on social media.
“What an exhibitionist.,” tweeted one grumpy user.
“Ever thought she’s just having a great day… don’t be so judgemental!!” wrote another.
The woman was obviously having fun, while other punters braved the incredibly wet weather miserably.
Torrential rain bucketed down on The Flemington Race course and the famous Bird Cage was flooded.
As the rain continued, there were fears the 3pm race may have to be called off, leaving many punters hugely disappointed.
