Meghan’s nephew Tyler Dooley to star in reality show The Royal Life

He says “Aunty Meghan” is his favourite royal.

Another one of Meghan Markle’s relatives has decided to cash in on her new royal fame. Tyler Dooley, the Duchess of Sussex’s nephew from her former stepbrother Thomas Markle Jr., will star in a new MTV reality series ‘The Royal Life.’

In a preview clip for the new series, Dooley claims “Aunty Meghan” is his favourite royal because “he doesn’t know any of the others.”

This is also not the first time Dooley has attempted to cash in thanks to the newly minted duchess. Tyler previously profited from her royal status with his legal marijuana business, dubbed Royally Grown.

The farmer, who lives in Oregon, created a special strain called the Markle Sparkle in honour of the former Suits actress, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Earlier this year, Dooley’s father, Thomas Markle Jr, told media that fame had “changed” his stepsister Meghan and he wished the Markle family had received better treatment from the royal family.

“Before she went to Suits, they were just in constant contact all the time and that’s all he would ever talk about,” Thomas Jr. claimed of Meghan and Thomas Sr.’s relationship.

“He dedicated all his time to her. But when she couldn’t give him the time he needed or wanted to spend with her, he got upset about that. She didn’t need him like she needed him before — she was getting everything she wanted from being a star and being on that show. He would have to reach out to her and I think their relationship became a lot more distant then and that hurt his feelings.”

Meanwhile, Meghan’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, apologised to the Duchess publicly — but was still turned away at the Kensington Palace gates this week.

Samantha, 53, who recently flew into the UK in a bid to speak to her estranged sister was reportedly turned away by security.

Photos captured Samantha – diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008 and is now wheelchair-bound because of the condition – being wheeled dejectedly away from the security office at the palace.
