When it comes to Married at First Sight when a couple actually stick together after the show they seem like the ultimate success story!
But unfortunately, Nick Furphy and Sharon Marsh weren’t going to make it the whole way after Marsh admits she never truly fell for him.
Sharing her side of the story with OK! magazine, Marsh admits that the 30-year-old Melbourne carpenter never really won her heart and she found herself sabotaging them by making excuses to delay leaving Perth for her husband.
‘I made excuses why I couldn’t move over to Melbourne straight away,’ she told the magazine.
‘My business, I needed to rent out my house, I’d miss my family and friends, my dog.’
When she finally made the move she realised it wasn’t to be.
‘I had a constant ache in my chest and it didn’t feel like I’d made the right decision. I missed everything about home — my dog, my sister, my parents.’
When asked about how his wife’s decision affected him, Nick Furphy said: ‘I started to shake and couldn’t believe what I was hearing.’
‘It broke my heart.’
