Lisa Marie Presley has found herself at the centre of wild pregnancy rumours at age 49, after she was spotted sporting a large baby bump recently.
The slender celebrity proudly displayed her swollen belly during a shopping trip in LA, with sources revealing that the troubled star refuses to ‘confirm or deny’ the growing baby buzz.
The shock rumours have come off the back of a tumultuous year for the rock star offspring, as she battles through a difficult divorce from estranged husband Michael Lockwood – who was accused of possessing child pornography and inappropriate videos of their own eight-year-old daughters.
The messy split has also seen troubled Lisa lose her temporary custody of twins Finley and Harper, declare herself broke and seek treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Now on top of this string of shocking scandals, she’s the subject of growing pregnancy speculation.
‘Lisa Marie refuses to reveal whether the pregnancy rumours are true, but there’s no denying that bump,’ says a close source. ‘She looks five months pregnant – it’s a very pronounced bump.
‘If she is pregnant, the real mystery is who the dad could be. Things couldn’t be worse between Lisa and Michael – it’s about as bitter a divorce as you can imagine. We’re wondering if she has a secret boyfriend.’
Adding to the mum-of-four’s woes is the looming 40-year anniversary of her father Elvis Presley’s tragic death, with New Idea recently reporting the milestone is hitting Lisa Marie ‘very hard’.
‘It’s been 40 years since her father died, and Lisa Marie just feels like things have gone from bad to worse for her,’ says a close friend. ‘She feels a little cursed, like he was.’
