With his wife Karen’s body discovered in bushland eight months after she first disappeared, Borce Ristevski has been spotted visiting his lawyers in Melbourne.
Despite there being no arrests or charges laid against Borce, his lawyers claim the investigators have their sights set on their client.
‘It’s pretty clear police have him as their number one suspect,’ criminal lawyer Rob Stary told The Age.
‘Obviously his wife has been found and there’s an autopsy report being completed. He wants to see what that could mean.’
Last seen leaving her Avondale Heights home at 10am on June 29 last year to reportedly ‘clear her head’ after an argument with Borce, the 47-year-old’s whereabouts remained a mystery until a walker discovered her remains underneath two logs in Macedon Regional Park on Monday.
Mr Ristevski has consistently denied any involvement in his wife’s disappearance and investigations into her death are ongoing.
