Some good news in these tragic circumstances.

Two sisters have been identified in hospital more than a day after a blaze swept through the Grenfell Tower in London.

Malek, 8, and Tamzin Belkadi, 6, who lived on the 20th floor of the apartment building, were found after a frantic search following the deadly fire.

Sadly, their parents and baby sibling have not been found.

According to their mother’s cousin Adel Chaoui, one of them is in a coma and one had to be sedated as she was so traumatised she could not stop screaming.

The sisters were only identified because Chaoui was searching for the girls.

“The police are following protocol they have in place during terrorist incidents,” he told The Telegraph.
“There needs to be separate protocol for civil disasters. That’s what’s going wrong here. They’re still treating everyone as suspects.”
