Frasier star John Mahoney passed away this week at the age of 77.
Now, TMZ has reported that the beloved sitcom dad died following a series of health problems, including brain disease and cancer.
Mahoney, who was also reportedly suffering from kidney disease and diabetes, was farewelled on Monday.
The late actor was best known for his role as Martin Crane, the father of Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce’s characters on hit sitcom Frasier.
Grammer took to Twitter Wednesday to remember his on-screen dad with a sweet photo of the two in an embrace.
