Jacinda Arden’s partner Clarke Gayford has revealed some exciting news ahead of their daughter’s nine month milestone.
In a heart warming tweet, the husband of the New Zealand prime minister wrote: “For her 9 month birthday today we received the gift of crawling.
“While her mum got her the gift of having a safer country to grow up in,” he added.
His last comment alluded to the fact that New Zealand has now banned all rifles after the Christchurch massacre that saw 50 people die outside a local mosque.
Jacinda and Clarke’s daughter Neve was born June 21 last year.
“I’m sure we’re going through all of the emotions new parents go through, but at the same time feeling so grateful for all the kindness and best wishes from so many people. Thank you,” Ardern said when she was born.
