Instagram model Rachel Ward wore FIVE different dresses worth over $90,000 to her two wedding ceremonies. Since then, the busty blonde has been slammed for being ‘indecisive’ and ‘vain’.
The 27-year-old from the UK wed partner Thomas Cottrell in the Maldives and then had a seperate ceremony in the Lake District.
Following her Instagram posts dedicated to her five seperate gowns, commenters couldn’t help but weigh int.
‘High maintenance and vain! The marriage won’t last. Guarantee it,’ one wrote, with another adding, ‘The dresses were clearly more important than the actual getting married part.’
Responding to comments, Ward claimed she had left two of the extravagant dressed in the Maldives for future brides to wear.
‘I left two of the wedding dresses I wore in the Maldives there for future Maldivian brides to wear, should they not be able to afford a gown themselves,’ she told FEMAIL.
Rachel also donated two of the dresses to Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust – a charity close to her heart.
Looking back, Ward reflects: ‘I’m really not a bridezilla I just simply love fashion which is what I studied, for my degree.
‘I think I got a little carried away and just kept seeing more and more that I liked, only looking back now do I realise how many I had.’
