House Rules fans will get a glimpse into the personal life of popular chippie Tim on tonight’s episode of the hit reno show.
As the Melbourne brothers tour Tim’s newly renovated home, his wife Kate and daughter Isabella make a surprise appearance.
The 32-year-old and his long-term love married five years ago and has their first child last year.
According to Tim, there wasn’t much time for him and Kate to think about the implications that him leaving to compete on House Rules would have for their young family.
“She didn’t say too much about it,” Tim says.
“It all came up so quick we didn’t really get much of an opportunity to discuss the decision.
“We applied right at the end so it happened really quickly. We pretty much put the application in as it was closing.”
