Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing Melbourne man Troy Beckwith, who has still not been located since his missing status was broadcast to the media by police yesterday afternoon.
The 41-year-old actor, who shot to fame playing Michael Martin on Neighbours in the 90’s, was last seen at his Cranbourne home in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition.
It’s believed he fled the residence in a white 1999 Ford Falcon wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and red and black running shoes.
Cranbourne Police Sen-Constable Kristen Hill says Beckwith is known to stay at hostels within in the CBD and urges anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact police.
“He’s got his mobile phone, his personal belongings,” she told the Herald Sun.
“(On Wednesday morning) he contacted his partner, saying an appointment had been cancelled and that was the last time she heard from him.”
Police and family members are concerned for Beckwith’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.
As well as starring on the long-running soap between 1991-1998, Beckwith had roles in popular Australian TV shows, including Blue Heelers and children’s TV series Pugwall.
Beckwith is described as Caucasian, 180cm tall and has brown hair and brown eyes.
