The father of murdered school teacher Stephanie Scott has tragically died after being crushed by a falling tree.
According to 7 News, police were called to a farm on Namami Road, near Canowindra in rural NSW following reports a man in his 60’s had died.
Robert Scott is believed to have been struck whilst clearing trees on his property.
The news of Mr Scott’s death comes less than three weeks after his daughter’s murderer and rapist; Vincent Stanford, was sentenced to life in prison.
